AIR and OMI joined hands and organised, as part of the Day of Architecture and the Rotterdam Architecture Month, an extend program about the recent development and future perspective of the Rijnhaven. For the start a boat tour took the experts on a time travel to the historical layers of the former harbors waterfront. Right after, talks in Hotel Room Mate Bruno about the cutting-edge areal development added additional insight. These were given by Rachèl van Olm (Theater Walhalla), Ruud Reutelingsperger (Observatorium), Peter Spakman (municipal urban development) and architects Joke Vos and Robert Winkel. The following part in POST Podium placed their stories in a greater context: Adriaan Geuze laid out his vision for the Stadas – city axis which were thereafter discussed by Nina Cranen (Hart van Zuid), Mattijs van Ruijven (municipal urban development) and urban planner Mariet Schoenmakers. The program was moderated by Marion Keete and concluded with a performance by Ali Murat Cengiz and Johannes Fend.
